How to set up and use our PerfectPage feature

Updated over 3 months ago

Setting up Perfect Page

  1. Make sure the client’s organisation / logins are set up.

2. Adjust the settings to suit the client’s needs.

For each organisation on Eebz, we can have Perfect Page set up differently, depending on what the organisation / we need from Perfect Page. This setup can be modified by using a ‘weighting’ score out of 100%, once logged in. https://app.eebz.com/settings/account/perfectpage.

Adjust the Metrics as per client requirements

  • Metrics can be turned on for tracking using the weighting score. E.g., “images are the most important metric to our organisation so I’ll set them to 20% and reduce default score & product title to lower scores”

  • You need all the weights to add up to 100% in total for the data to flow. If you want to turn off a metric, reduce the weight to 0% and it will be longer be tracked.

  • Next to each metric is an arrow – this selects a dropdown which enables the user to configure the metric in further detail.

Minimum Performance Threshold

PerfectPage helps customers act on clear, actionable data - so we added a feature that highlights only where changes are needed. This threshold controls:

  1. ‘Non-compliant’ listings dropdown on Retailers & Products overview pages

2. Default PerfectPage notifications

Setting up Metric Parameters

Where the organisation ideally wants its products to be positioned on PLPs – aka the category rank.

A close up of words

AI-generated content may be incorrect.

The preferred position for the organisation's product on search results pages, when users search for the Product Name SERP – aka the SERP rank.

Adjust the minimum ‘similarity score’ which is provided by our ML model, any images found to be under this percentage are “unmatched’

The ideal number of images the organisation would like to showcase for each product on its PDP.

The image resolution also can be adjusted here. Because we extract from the PDP carousel not the main image, the resolution is much smaller. Typically, 50p by 50p is optimal.

The ideal number of words (min. & max.) the organisation would like to have for each product’s description, on the PDPs.

Whether the organisation wishes to classify descriptions as correct, based on keywords, or on a whole description. (image is keyword tracking ON). Note keywords are far more commonly used, as rarely do retailers all use the same description structure.

Whether the organisation wishes to classify product titles as correct, based on keywords, or on a whole title. (image is keyword tracking OFF) - Note keywords are far more commonly used, as rarely do retailers all use the same naming structure.

Setting up a product for Perfect Page

  1. Make sure the brand is added to the organisation in brand settings - https://app.eebz.com/settings/account/brands.

2. On Eebz, under [Products -> Add Products], select a product, then click [Track].

3. Set up the organisation’s ideal page for the product.

On the product’s page (https://app.eebz.com/products/[PRODUCT_ID_HERE]/overview), you will need to set up the ideal retailer PDP page for the product / SKUs.

3.1 Product Title

The product’s ideal title can be set on the left-hand side of the product page, under the yellow Perfect Page tab – either the keywords to look for, or the full title, depending on the organisation’s setup.

If product title keyword toggle is activated (in settings page), full title will be ignored.

a) The product’s ideal title for each SKU can be set on the right-hand side of the product page, on the SKU, under the Perfect Page star tab – either the keywords to look for, or the full title, depending on the organisation’s setup. You can also turn off specific SKUs for Perfect Page here also.

SKU settings override base product settings.

b) The product’s ideal description can be set on the left-hand side of the product page, under the yellow Perfect Page tab – either the keywords to look for, or the full description, depending on the organisation’s setup.

If the descriptions keyword toggle is activated, full description will be ignored.

c) The product’s ideal images can be set up on the DAM tab on the product page. Upload the ideal images for the base product, & the SKUs (if required). Once you’ve uploaded the images, make sure to ‘star’ them.

d) Once starred they will be passed through the ML model to check for image similarities.

e) The product’s ideal listed attributes should be added to the left-hand side of the product page, under the yellow details tab .

f) The product’s ideal market (category group) to appear in, can be set on the product page by pressing the three-dots (‘…’) next to the product’s title.

g) The search term used for SERP ranking – aka the Product Name SERP – can be set on the left-hand side of the product page, under the yellow Perfect Page tab

Finding Scores & Reviewing Results

PerfectPage scores per organisation are showcased in 3 areas’

  1. Retailer overview page = average scores of all listings tracked on that retailer

2. Product overview page = average scores of all listings associated with that product

3. Listing overview page = scores of each metric for that particular listing

Non-Compliant Listings

On both Retailer & Product overview pages, because they consist of a grouping of listings, there’s a section called ‘non-compliant’ listings.

Once the arrow is selected you can see listings which fail to meet the minimum compliance score (set in settings).

PerfectPage Findings

On listing overview pages, you can quickly see how each metric impacts performance scores. Expand the dropdown to view all metrics, their extracted values, and whether they matched.

Notifications

Currently we only have default notifications

These can be set up easily through this process

Select report type – PerfectPage - All other steps are standard report functions. This will then be received via email for the cadence set.

Notifications have two tabs:

Overview tab – showing product > listing scores under the minimum performance threshold.

Actions tab – showing ‘PerfectPage findings’ or what needs to be done to increase their performance score.
